2016 Track & Field Team Store Open!

Emphasis: Optional. Pick, choose, or don't. :) Racing uniforms (singlet and shorts) are team property; warmups (jackets and/or pants), t-shirts, and gear bags are optional purchases and yours to keep.

Take a look, and if you see something you like, place your order here:
jjathletics.tuosystems.com/stores/northwestnighthawkstrack2016

A few important points:
  1. The store will close Thursday night, March 24, at 11:59 P.M.
  2. 2016 Inaugural Season t-shirts are available with long or short sleeves.
  3. Warmup jackets/pants come in both men's and ladies' styles. Be sure you order the right ones. :) Sizes offered include XS-XXL. Sizes are listed in the drop-downs are in alpha order, not size order. {Shrug.} The jackets are lightweight and taffeta lined. The pants are more of a mediumweight (I'd say more waterproof), mesh lined to the knees, and then taffeta lined to the ankle, where there is a zipper so you can get them over your shoes.
  4. We will have some warmup sample sizes available at Uniform Try-On times. After that, you might have to go to Buffalo (jjathletics.com). Let us know before you drive out there. ***Racing uniforms (singlet and shorts) are team property; warmups (jackets/pants) are optional purchases and yours to keep.*** If you have not signed up for a uniform try-on time, please do so via SignUpGenius or we will have to guess at your size.
  5. The gear bags are new for us and simply say "Northwest Nighthawks" so you can use them for cross country, too. ;) Erika did a test drive and fit a ton of stuff in it.
For reference: Erika fit the Ladies' S jacket and Ladies' S pants. I (Coach Jennifer) thought the S jacket was a little roomy for me, but I wouldn't want the arms any shorter; and XS pants for me. Luke will be ordering a men's XS jacket (they don't have pants small enough; maybe next year we can look into youth sizes). Coach (Kirk) Swanson fit the men's M jacket and M pants. Men's sizes tend to run a size larger than women's.

Augusta also has a live chat help option: http://chat.augustasportswear.com/ECCChat/chat.html

Hope this helps! Again, all is optional as a service to the team and fans. As always, let us know if you have questions.

Spirit Wear - Taking Clothing Orders Through Wed., Sept. 2

We're all set!
<https://jjathletics.tuosystems.com/stores/nighthawkcrosscountry2015>

A few important points:

  1. The store will close Wednesday night, September 2, at 11:59 P.M.
  2. The "package deal" includes names printed/embroidered on all three (3) items. (T-shirt in the package is short sleeved.) I was told that most kids just use their last name for this kind of thing, but obviously you can do whatever you want.
  3. There are sizing charts in green clickable text under each item.
  4. If you are concerned about sizing, you're welcome to visit the shop in Buffalo and try things on! <http://jjathletics.com/>
For reference: Erika tried on the Adult XS sweatshirt, and it looked plenty big for her, but she chose the Adult S because it was easier to get on and off (starting line on the brain). She chose the Adult XS for sweatpants. These are roomy (long rise/crotch), so the inseams are a little shorter than a pair of jeans. These are not "fitted performance pants" so much as warm-ups to pull on/off your other clothes. The sweatpants do have drawstrings, and you can fold the waistband down if you really want to.

Luke tried the Adult XXS sweatshirt and had plenty of room. :) His best bet for pants was the Youth L and had plenty of length.

The sweatshirt is a 60/40 blend so might shrink a little; the pants are all cotton and as such will have some shrinkage but again, they're big to start.

Ladies' sizing is going to be a smaller cut/fit. We ordered some of these last year for the red t-shirts. The long-sleeved style is new for us this year.

All is optional as a service to the team and fans.

Hope that helps!
